Cinematography: Why be a cinematographer?

Why be a cinematographer? cinematography

Explain why you chose this field to be your career path.

I personally love capturing moving images and trying to seize a moment in reality the way I see it to be true. Learning to be a cinematographer has taught me to slow down and just first view the world around me, than react!

The cinematography that is accomplished by Zach Zamboni on the TV show No Reservations, which airs on the travel channel is what really sparked my interest in becoming a cinematographer. The merging of two mediums, television and cinema, which is called cinema verite is what the show is shot and edited like. A must see show for anyone interested in cinematography especially specific episodes such as Haiti, Belem Brazil, or Cuba. Simply beautiful work!

Really nice work. Mike M. What was one of the most important things as far as (pushing yourself creatively) you have learned over the years. Thanks for the comment!
