Filmmaking / Directing : Any tips for a leatherworker heading to LA? by Mike Romoth

I normally post in the Screenwriting forum, but I also have extensive experience (15 years) as a mask designer and maker of hand-made leather goods. I have an extensive catalogue of designs for painted leather masks and other types of leather accessories, including handbags, shoulder bags, bracelets, armbands, and leather armor. I have several photos on my profile that show a selection of my designs. I'm heading out to Los Angeles for a screenwriting pitchfest in mid-August. Does anyone have advice or tips for me to explore possibilities for my leatherwork while I'm out there pushing my scripts? As always, many thanks for any advice you care to share.
