Best time to register my new screenplay? screenwriting

Hey all. Apologies in advance if this is a repetitive post. I've made my third editing pass on a recently completed rom-com.

When is the best time to register the work with WGA? Is it something you should do as soon as your first draft is complete, or much later in the process. Thanks so much for your feedback and linkage. Happy Friday!

You should register it when you are finished and don't send it to anyone until you do. I recommend registering it with the US Copyright Office though. And a Happy Friday to you as well.
