Screenwriting: Logline and Pitch for query letter

Logline and Pitch for query letter Screenwriting

I've been revising my logline for my query letter. This is my current logline: A young girl arrives back to her hometown, while struggling to raise her daughter and at the same time harboring a dark secret about how she was conceived hidden. I like this because it clearly describes what the pilot is about. But I don't know if it contradicts my pitch that I have. This is my pitch: A family drama about four diverse families in a suburb in Pennsylvania. These families have teenagers who deal with current and emotional issues such as relationships, illness, rape, homosexuality, autism and much more. This is what I have plan for the series. Each episode (or every 2 episodes) I target a issue that one of the main characters has since I would like to make this a ensemble series, but logline could suggest that it primarily focuses on the heroine's family (like it does in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, which I'm not against). If I switch the format to solely focus on my heroine's family do I need to change the pitch to my series? As you know this doesn't come naturally to me so any feedback would be appreciate it. Thank you!
