As screenwriters, we all understand that the moment you type those words, FADE OUT, two things will come to mind: finally and oh shit, now I have to try and explain all this to someone.
Increasingly, writers are urged to create a website promoting their writing and themselves as writers. I’ve had a personal website for years now but would love to have the experience of this forum to test-drive a pitch I’ve incorporated into my personal site for my latest feature length spec. titled - CONNECT. My experience has been that getting ‘them’ to your site is only 10% of the battle. The next step is to get the phone to ring – with sound ;)
For anyone that has a few minutes, take a look at my recent pitch and throw it at me. CONNECT is a high concept drama/thriller. What do you see in my pitch? And, what don’t you see? Any feedback is welcomed feedback (concept, marketability, level of initial interest, etc.).
Thanks in advance. You can see it here at: www.joeymay.com
Thanks for taking a look. You make a good point about the log line. -Joey
Finally and oh shit is right! I will check this out! Thanks
