I've been to multiple pitchfests, and as much as I prepare for that all important 5 minute meeting, it's always the same. My nerves are on edge, your mind is going a hundred different directions and you're wondering if there's anything on your face. After the first 3 pitches however, the nerves settle down and you relax and just go for it. The one thing that brings me back to chi is that this is a wonderful opportunity and I've spent a ton of money getting here so don't blow it by over thinking it. Just sell your story as if it were an Oscar winner. The number one thing is to believe in yourself and the story. If you're rejected, that just means it not for them and don't take it personally. Somebody else will like it, maybe even love it. Quitting is not an option. Good luck to all and many thanks for the great tips.
Amen!
