Great article. I especially like the part about being honest and humble about yourself. Many scriptwriters exaggerate their connections to make themselves appear more experienced in the industry, but the script itself should do the selling for you.

Exactly! And if a writer lies or misleads, they WILL be exposed. I've seen it happen... too many times.
