Lynette, this is a great article! And judging from the comments, it's just what the Stage 32 members love to read about. And it sure highlights how successful you are at PR - you go girl! Your enthusiasm practically jumps off the page at me! I am an author of a YA adventure novel that has won 14 awards (first in a trilogy) and I've been dreaming big and wondering what would the next step be in promoting the story for film or TV. Given the conclusion of Twilight, Harry Potter, and soon-to-be done Hunger Games, audiences will be looking for the "next" YA film series. Are novels ever "discovered" in the world of film or are they always adapted to a screenplay first and then shopped around?
