Great words Doug! You had to learn a very hard lesson that applies to all of life. I think you should be proud of ALL you work. The secret is out about how the original drafts of a screenplay can be massively overhauled, leaving the final product a shadow of it's former self. I don't hear much from "regular" folk about how bad the writer was. I hear things like, "Wow, I wonder how much the studio interfered with the development." It's hard enough to get a screenplay sold, let alone actually produced. That is a testament to your skill and talent. Besides, Money Train wasn't THAT bad;) Pluto Nash...THAT was BAD! Thanks for the insight!
