Doug - thanks for taking the time to leave this moving tribute and insider's tale. I've never been a big fan of Tarantino's - but I am a big fan of "True Romance" - so maybe I can redirect my praise to Tony Scott for his passionate direction of the film (plus - I think I've read over the years that Quentin didn't like the way the movie turned out - so I get a 2 for 1 deal). I was shocked to hear of his passing - especially the way of it - and am left wondering about the "why?" with now conflicting stories coming out in the press. In any event - a very talented man gone too soon. And thanks again for taking the time to share your personal story.
