Lisa - I guess I'm one of the Lucky 100 as BERNIE opened yesterday at the Bethel Cinema in Bethel, CT. which is quite nearby. Very much looking forward to seeing it - even before your article - but now - even moreso. Only problem is...my son - who's a HUGE Jack Black fan - has made me swear to wait until I can take him to see it with me. The same son (aspiring actor) who wants to co-star opposite Jack in a screenplay I wrote - where I actually used him (my son) as inspiration for the character of a wild teen - while picturing JB in the lead. I'm in the process of doing a minor revision on it myself (changing the villain and excising one minor character) - so while I'm waiting to see the movie with my son - my son's waiting for me to finish my rewrite. the circle of life. Or something.
