Hemingway's words ring true for the work that has occupied much of my time of late and which will continue for the next several weeks. Aside from working jobs to support myself and the projects at hand, I have been spending my time on three projects in the last stages of post-production. Unfortunately, with The Gift, one of my main collaborators had to leave but that has not stopped the process, and we're still on our way to finishing it. Time is my main resource, and I am using it in order to create works that can live on their own. Though a larger budget would make things "easier," I can't imagine not putting the effort into the struggle that goes behind filmmaking. That is the essence of everything. I love filmmaking and using the time I have to immerse myself in the process.
