I do believe we are in the early stages of a renaissance when it comes to film and publishing. The independent market is surely in flux. With the studios locked into franchise and tent pole fare, the need for greater and more diverse methods of content distribution on the independent side continues to build. I expect the landscape to look decidedly different over the next couple of years. We plan on being at the forefront of what I expect to be an innovative and expansive period for the distribution of independent film.
On the publishing side, there's a seismic shift happening. The proliferation of self-publishing options, as well as the rise of our instant gratification society is already threatening the established norms. There's a seismic shift happening.
In both cases, simply by the wealth of choices, the public wins.
