Really great article! It's comforting to know that writers at all levels go through so many different emotions when working on a piece. Also that it's okay to be unsure of what you have and not judge it until it's complete and you can take a step back from it. I look forward to part II.
I try not to judge anything as I'm writing. There's going to be enough of that to come. Best to incarcerate the critic. And I'm my own most trenchant critic. Important to get it out with the least amont of critical interference. Never, ever, show anything you're working on to anyone else.
