Anyone who has worked with the up and coming actor, Kristine Caluya, is OK by me. Best of luck to both of you.

Slated.com is for film financing, anyone using it yet? Sorry for my last post. Blame it on my dyslexic keyboard.

So, I finally had my last back and forth with slated and I officially will not be joining them. The sign up process is a pain, and the requirement to give up all my contacts just to "qualify" as a professional is frankly insulting. They even admit that the "peer approval" method is problematic because they are still new and trying to build their database.

In all this time, I have even seen more people I know sign up, but at this point, I still don't see an advantage to membership. My skills and experience should be more important than my list of contacts.

Last thought- if membership is free, I should not have to give up information about my contacts- information has value as well, and I like to protect my privacy as much as possible in this age we live in.

Maybe they’ll work out the kinks and eventually it would work better.

Oh, I'm sure they are working on it. I simply won't be waiting around for them to get it together.

Welcome aboard. What's your favorite camera?

Right now, probably the Arri Alexa. But it's all based on the needs of the script. I'll shoot on anything if it fits. But from what I've experienced, the Alexa is the best digital camera out there right now. The Sony F3 is really great on the lower end too!

Liked your reel, the skin tones felt like film. Arri Alexa and the F3 are awesome cameras.
