Really cool book binding, I'm addicted to books that have this kind of binding. I know it's weird :)

This sounds like an interesting story. This could work as a theatre play, but I think you could do so much more with it as a screenplay. I've got loads questions building up in my head...is Anna linked to this other world in some way she doesn't know/remember? Did fairytales originate from this other world? In this other world are fairytales a source of power (in our world stories only carry a metaphorical power)? Does the cat know Anna (some sort of familiar like witches have)? Does Anna hold the key to bringing stories back to her world? the questions go on...I would love to know more.

Hi Sarah, in answer to a few of your questions ... our fairytales did originate in the other world, and what was fact became myth here so to speak, the witch is able to use the power of story and fairytales to gain her own power, and the cat isn't actually a cat as such, its more of a disgiuse. But if you like Norse myths that a clue to who he might be! I've got ideas for a follow up as well which hopefully i'll get to write down the line. I'm hoping to put chapter one up on here in the next few days too...

Hi Sarah, i've put Chapter One up now, but its a bit squished up as i had to use the cut and paste section which rejigged how i'd set it out!

Hi, it sounds interesting! I have an undergraduate masters in astronomy, space science and astrophysics. If you find you need someone with knowledge in these areas I'll more than happily help you.

Thank you Sarah. This film has a lot to do with outer space. Planet Malaxier (Earth's parallel) rears towards Earth after being hit by an asteroid and is divided into 4 pieces. A lot of the focus is on whether the collision will be deadly or not. Also one or two outer atmosphere battles. I could definitely need your expertise in the astrophysics and space science sectors. I'll be in touch as soon as more progress has been made.

working with a character that is intelectually bright but outside of that she's as dumb as they come (i.e.. you could insult her and she wouldn't know it, socially inept) at the moment i've got it written so that she purely comes across as dumb but as time goes by you pick up on hints that she's actually very smart. Do you think that would work?

I knew a guy from India who had a P.H.D. in physics. He used to hang with us to meet girls. His social ineptitude was at times embarrassing but more often humorous, much like SNL's "wild and crazy guys". We all knew why he was socially challenged; he was from India! WHY your character is an idiot savant would have a great bearing on how an audience feels about her. "Rainman" was born that way, but there could be any number of causes for such a condition. An intriguing concept. This could be a great premise for humor as well as drama.

An ex of mine in college was straight A's but outside of an academic environment, she would walk into walls. Very sweet woman and intellectually great at debates, but real life seemed to confuse her. So, it sounds pretty real to me.
