In the process of thinking of a concept for his film he came across well known screen writer and producer Scott Fivelson, who later was hired by Khan to write the screenplay for his film. In the course of the film being written Khan came across a young director from Texas, Hilarion Banks a UCLA graduate who was also then hired to direct the film as well.
During the Casting of "Three Holes Two Brads and a Smoking Gun" Khan was very keen on getting actors that would fit each character written in the script. After alot of searching actors such as, Joaquim de Almeida the star of films like "Desperado" co staring with Antonio Banderas and also "Fast Five" co starring with The Rock and Venn Diesel. Joaquim de Almeida was cast as the role of Joey the Junkman, Rudolph Martin the star of films "Sword Fish" costarring with John Travolta and Hugh Jackman also seen in "Bedazzled" co staring with Brenden Fraiser, Rudolph was casted as the role of the junkie. The Great character actor Richard Edson a member of the band "sonic youth" and having starred in films like "Platoon" with Charlie Sheen and "Do the right thing" directed by Spike Lee. Richard was casted for the role of Sam Dunkim, James Wilder a 90's NBC soap star was casted to play the role of Bobby Blue Day. and actor Howard Mcnair off broadway was casted to play the role of Clive Mimbsy. Currently the film is in post production, and is expected to hit DVD, TV and run in the international festival circuit by the beginning of 2012.
