Feature length, World War Two, gothic feel, action film currently collecting carefully selected cast commitments from people with the right mind-set. Letters of intent not required at this time.
Script calls for 150 actors with at least one line so established (recognizable) actors that can play WW2 GI-age or have the required German Army / SS look interested in appearing in a cameo are highly sought after. Some older actors required for upper ranking American and German officers.
90% male cast playing age 17-32, Some older actors portraying officers or Germans. Every character is operating at the extremes of his being, these are not parts for the average guy looking to be in a movie, they require serious ability, many roles are very physically demanding.
Most characters die violently on screen. Much war-related realistic gore visible in many scenes, some scenes depict distasteful but historically accurate depictions of military actions and situations.
Time commitment is minimal for 85% of the roles as most appear in only one scene.
9 Co-Starring lead roles (many scenes, heavy dialog, physically demanding, performing some stunt work)
16-20 important supporting roles (up to 8 scenes, important dialog, physically demanding, character is likely wounded or dies on screen)
40 minor supporting roles (up to three scenes, minimal dialog, physically demanding but unlikely to require stunts, character dies on screen)
12 single scene, light dialog, supporting roles, mostly officers, able to portray command presence and appear age 35+
Several cameo roles (single scene, minimal if any dialog, probably die on camera)
Several cameo roles (single scene, possible face time, no dialog, possibly just a dead body)
Several speaking roles for German soldiers and officers, German language skills helpful.
Elderly couple, minimal dialog, portray age 75-80 +, German speaking preferred, physically demanding role for the female (climbing over rubble), the male is unconscious throughout.
Older German male, portray age 65+ (about 3 scenes, important dialog in German, must evoke wide range of emotions in the viewer, German language required)
