Thank you so much, Rex, for this wonderful, inspiring, captivating text... When will we read the second part? I'm a 42 yo french published novelist myself, novel #3 will come out in January '13 and I'm currently working on the fourth one. The first did OK (made it to paperback) but the second one, released last April, was a commercial disappointment: no reviews, no readers. This threw me into a 5-6 months depression, I got over it, but I have to say I'm struggling since then to just believe in myself, to trust my talent... I have a feel-paid job in the diplomacy field (I'm currently posted in India, amazing country) but it's really not what I like to do... Anyway, reading your post worked as a booster for me: it's saturday noon, and I'm gonna spend the rest of the week-end writing, in touch with my passion. Thanks to you.
