moreMy Name is JB “Tower” Martin I was born in Orange Texas. I graduated from West Orange Stark in 84 with scholarships in Theatre and Basketball. I attended Houston-Tillston in 1985. I would describe myself as a motivator and some one who loves family, any ones children and life itself. Some have called me energized, Multi-Tasked, Powerful, People Person, Gentle Giant, Bear, and Big Voice.
I came back to Austin for a life in music, but after rearing 4 beautiful children I realized that there was something that need my immediate attention, (children)! Over the past 10 years I have been involved in both gospel music and youth programming. I have been the PTA President at Graham Elementary, I have also completed 2 gospel CD’s, aired 2 television programs and I have spoken at more than 40 different High Schools, Houston-Tillotson College, and a variety of local churches. I have personally committed to hours of middle and high school statistical studies, behavioral patterns and effective behavioral modification programs for teens at risk.
“I believe that we as parents or responsible for the amount of positive influential material that our children or exposed to”.
Today’s teenagers or one of the most advanced learners of any decade, with access to the Internet and 24 hour television. These advantages can be used for good or bad, it’s up to us as parents and teachers to guide them in the right direction.
