Synopsis:
This sexy, zooped up, psychedelic comedy is an adventure about five strippers trying to better their lives. Saffron, the heroine of our story, meets Mr. Wright who informs her that her estranged grandmother, Dusty Rose, a famous burlesque dancer, has just died and left her a legacy in Barstow CA. Saffron rally's her friends to leave the seedy strip club they work at to join her in this new opportunity. They all decide they've had it up to their hair extensions with the sleazy clientele and abusive boss, Otto, and leave without notice. As the girls discuss their plan they are overheard by Otto's henchwomen. Discovering this, and money missing from the safe, Otto sets out on the road after the girls in a murderous rage. All hell breaks loose when Saffron insists on picking up a hitchhiker near the woman's prison, where their limo gets carjacked, leaving them with nothing but their bustier, boas and booties to survive. This starts an adventure they will never forget with a slew of haphazard events along the way. Russ Myer meets Mike Myers. This homage to the sexploitation films of the sixty's is a neo-cult classic in the making. Fully equipped with sexy girls, dance spectacles, zippy car chases, lesbian undertones, and mothers who want to strip, there is something for everyone.
