moreI worked as a professional actor in Brazil mainly in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Curitiba, Cuiaba and also I've written one play in Portuguese that made to the professional stage in Rio de Janeiro. I studied with Gerald Thomas from La Mamma Theatre in NY, I've met Gerald recently here in London and he read my play written in English based on Bob Dylan lyrics and although it is not his style he loved it.
I came over to London in the year 2000 and stayed and stayed and stayed for too long... My last legacy as anything to do with theatre is my play "Into The Vacuum Of His Eyes - The Lyrics Of Bob Dylan". I'd be happy to see it performed, I'd die happy. I'd love to see my play on stage even if It doesn't bring a cent/penny I'd be still over the clouds.
Please give your true opinion and suggestions of what doesn't and what works. I feel that the play is very long and is unfinished and it's limited for changes coming from me as I'm mentally burned out since 2003 during the creation of the play. I cannot even attempt to change anything by myself, but maybe if others like you reading and expressing their true opinion and suggestions, maybe I can give it one more go... or give it up completely. For the past 5 years I didn't show to anyone till last year I met with Gerald. This play is my last legacy in the theatre.
So your opinion is really important and I'm really excited to know what you think... very excited to hear what is bad in my play too.
You can download the play from my profile in the "Longlines & Screenplays"... but bare it in mind that the style of the play is a mixed salad from Total Theater, Da-Da, Becket, Antonin Artaud, Grotowski and even Stanislavski. Maybe that's one of the problems...
