morePatrick McCarthy, Actor/Director/Playwright, originally from Waukesha, Wisconsin, is a New York City based entertainment professional, whose most recent work PRIDE RIVER CROSSING: A Spoon River for a New Century (C) 2011 [3M, 3W] Running time 142 minutes, recently had its first staged reading at Flamenco Latino Studios in NYC and was featured in an AEA Showcase production at the ALL OUT ARTS FRESH FRUIT FESTIVAL in July 2012. He has long associations with Little Theatre on the Square, Sullivan, IL, as Actor, Director and Playwright, and as an Actor at Actor's Shakespeare Company at NJCU, Jersey City, NJ. His NYC acting credits include Ruth in PIRATES of PENZANCE for Gorilla Rep at Southstreet Seaport reviewed by Backstage and the New York Times, and THE SUM OF US, and THE WEIR for Shakespearean Theatre, many readings for INSTANT SHAKESPEARE, and stagings of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING in Riverside Park and the West End Theatre, and the World Premiere of AREA 51: The Musical.
