Got an email earlier from a casting director specifically requesting me to work on a very popular TV series for several days in the role of a prison guard. Either they're looking for a puny guard or my rather small physique didn't faze them. Not sure I'm going to accept the role. I seriously have to start working out even harder so I can feel more comfortable about playing a bad boy!! :-)

So the question posed to me this evening by a well-connected Hollywood insider is do I want to shoot one or both of the films in China with a guaranteed distribution deal. What to do...
Any time you hear the word "guaranteed" in this business, you run, don't walk, in the direction of the deal.
Well, I feel there are a few steps in between: (1) before doing anything- float both offers, to see which is more beneficial in the long run. One picture vs. two means different expectations depending on the agreement. (2) make sure they will put any offer in writing. (3) Most important- make sure the contract actually stipulates what you agreed to before signing it. After you have calmly secured the deal to the best of you ability, and are back amongst friends, then you can drop the game face and run wherever you like- you earned it.
LOL. There are tons of prison guards who are puny and very fat as well, trust me, I'm part of the "in" crowd on this one. LOL.
Attitude and confidence will give you all the height you need.
Well, there is always the rubber inflatible muscle suit......sorry I just had to :) To be honest the smaller guards are usually meaner and feared. (my grandfather was a sheriff)
