As an entertainment journalist, I reported Narnia movie news for two years. I now run a fan site and news blog for British actors Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley. I also co-manage an unofficial Facebook page for "Perfect Sisters" (2012) - starring Abigail Breslin, Georgie Henley, and Mira Sorvino. From July-October 2012, I was a content creator for the official Facebook fan page of Lauren Etchells, who plays Emily Mitchell in "Courageous" (2011). My interests are people, places, events, and ideas. I like to set people, past and present, in their cultural contexts. I'd love a public relations job, researching and writing. Some day I want to mentor people.
PROJECT PITCHES
I apologize for not responding to pitches sent to me via private messaging. First, I am very busy with my website – a niche site that reports news on the academic and professional careers of two young British actors. Second, most pitches don’t correspond to my site. I am a film and celebrity journalist only, not a unit publicist. I can publicize an interesting project (at any stage) via a news story, but that’s it. The only appropriate outlet is my blog on Yahoo! Voices. I do not watch sci-fi, fantasy (except for Narnia), or horror. Do not bother to pitch me such a project. My preferred genres are drama, history, literature, nature, and travel – whether feature film, short, or documentary. I must still approve of the project before I will publicize it.
