The River of Life

The reason I will never give up on making this into a movie is my late husband. His dream of coming to America since he was a little boy, and his father who pushed him to do so. Both of them have passed away and I want to tell their story so the dream of a little boy can be told, sadly the ending was not what any of us wanted it to be.

When someone you care about hurts you, you can hold on to anger, resentment and thoughts of revenge — or embrace forgiveness and move forward - my story goes from anger to sadness - thoughts of revenge and anger cannot be productive if the person you are directing this to is dead.

Temptations of men and those who give in to them sometimes pay the ultimate price, was it really worth it in the end?
In this true story a man gets the chance of a lifetime to live in the land he always dreamed of. Life was good, very good until tragedy strikes, a disease runs rampant throughout his body and when the disease temporarily stops he encounters a temptation he cannot refuse and he pays the ultimate price. The life of his wife and child he left behind are shattered after they learn of a deep secret he kept until the end. Addiction takes over the life of his wife because she cannot bear this secret yet alone losing him, she is dealing with the secret, his family that she does not understand, his family that does not understand her, and children to raise alone without any money, and any plans for their future.

Looking for a producer and screenwriter. I am really excited
to get this story out and this story is true and very personal therefore it is extremely difficult to write it. I need a partner who wants to go 50/50 on the story. I am willing to split the proceeds of any movie or book deal from this story. I need someone who is willing to take a chance on a great true story that has a lot of potential.
