SYNOPSIS:

While on a soul searching mission to come to peace with her dying father's last wishes, she gets pulled into a world of Russian mob trickery and falls into a few empty holes her philandering music executive husband and covert extorting uncle have left open. After digging for explanations, she discovers a deep and darkly hidden secret that threatens to wreck havoc on her family's empire. Behind every life decision lie it's "EFFECTIONS".

“EFFECTIONS” is a 1/2 hr. television dramedy set in Manhattan. It is a cosmopolitan world infused with classy people and grandiose opportunities where anything can happen. With it's high stakes storyline, “EFFECTIONS” capitalizes on being edgy, yet sassy as behind every crooked corner, lies a secret, dark plot twist which will communicate to audiences that they are in for a wild and dramatic ride.

“EFFECTIONS”, the series will take audiences on a salacious journey of sex, power, mystery and music as we explore the inter bed mingling of Biznice Records and the #1 public relations firm in NY, The Tupper Group. We will feature a guest Biznice music artist each week as the political fire’s The Tupper Group is putting out, explode in our faces. Each episode’s teaser will begin on a Friday where we take the viewer on a ride back in time from Act 1 to Act 2 revealing how they got there and will wrap each eps. on the present day allowing us to jump forward a week, surprising our audience every time. We will follow our lead, Ms. G, as she tries to sustain her surface success while trying to uncover the secrets her deceased parents left behind which will juxtapose with her husband Richard’s ongoing love affair with his co-worker Sam.
