Andrew's acting career began after a series of unlikely chance events including amongst other things a meeting with an English theatre director and a second meeting with a Korean Taekwondo expert in rural South Korea. These meetings enabled him to win a place to study drama at East 15 Acting School on his return to the UK during the legendary ‘John Baraldi’ era of the school.
He ultimately went on to obtain a master in dramatic art from East 15/Essex University.
Recently he’s performed in The Youth Who Set Forth recorded in front of a live audience at the Camden Round House; he also featured in The Birthday Present a film which was selected to premiere in the short film selection at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
He was also selected to appear in the original cast of The Fan of the Star which was performed
at the RADA John Gielgud Theatre London, the play will be published in 2012 by Samuel French.
Other recent theatre includes I'm a Londoner which was performed at The Tristan Bates Theatre, Court Yard Theatre, Jacksons Lane Theatre and 'The Scoop' City Hall. 1867 was performed at the Rich Mix Theatre both plays were directed by former Bollywood Actress turned theatre and film director Saima Duhare.
I’m a Londoner is currently being turned into a feature film. Andrew's voice has been used by National Geographic, Channel Four, and the BBC when he was a finalist in the Carleton Hobbs Radio Acting Competition.
Last year he acted and produced several ground breaking 3D Audio Dramas together with Wireless Theatre's founder Mariele Runacre Temple.
Andrew's Voice can also be heard in The Boy with Illuminated Measles directed by John Antrobus who wrote several episodes of the Goon Show. In addition to acting he has also taught various aspects of drama both in the UK and Switzerland.
2012 promises to be a prolific and exciting year with several new projects in theatre and film involving respected members of the UK theatre and film industry likely coming to fruition.
