GENRE: Horror, Thriller
LOGLINE: After leaving her murderous parents behind, a young teen finds refuge from the streets in a group home for runaways. While there she discovers the atrocities that take place and struggles against the dark influences of her parents to survive.

SYNOPSIS:

Born to and rejected by serial killer parents the gifted young Amber runs away with hopes of a better and more normal future. Teaming up with a few kids she makes a home for herself living in the sewers. A charismatic man, Adam, stops by with stories of a haven for runaways with promises of all the luxuries of a real home. Amber and her best friend, Rick, consider the too-good-to-be-true offer and decide that with their abilities to take care of themselves they will check it out. They arrive and are shown the facility called “Haven” and all is as promised. They meet several of the kids who live there who share some of their horror stories and what a godsend this new place has been for them. Amber is still a bit skeptical and Ricky is relishing in the new found friends and extravagance. Even Amber, who finds making friends hard, was able to connect with a young tenant, Annie, who increases Amber’s suspicions with secret messages pleading for help. The next day Annie is nowhere to be found but Amber finds that it’s not unusual for kids to leave. Amber then shows off her talent at strategy playing several games of billiards. Ricky tells a story of how she used to make money at billiards and how a man and his crew took her away but she came back with only a few bruises and the others were never seen again. That night Amber wakes to a locked room and escapes through the ceiling tiles and into the crawl space. She hears muffled noises and is drawn to the distant light from a room. She investigates to find her neighboring roommate, Zoe, being drugged and raped by the very people who run the facility, Adam and his wife. Fearing she awaits the very same fate she sneaks back to her room and masks her knowledge. Morning comes and she tries to convince Ricky to leave with her but he doesn’t believe her. She confronts Zoe with Ricky who denies anything being done. Frustrated and determined Amber leaves Haven. Several miles down a desolate road a cop pulls over to check on her. She makes up a story to be left alone but something is not right about him and she senses it. The facade drops and he violently arrests her as she fights back. He takes her to a building not far from Haven and locks her in a cage. There they wait for Adam and his wife who are anxious to do horrible things to her. Little do they know it is them who have unleashed the demon that Amber had worked so hard to repress.
