Allison Mosier

Theatre director, host/presenter, actor, and voice artist from Los Angeles, California

Allison Mosier is a Los Angeles-based actor and director. Currently Allison can be seen across the country playing Shelly Tibbits in WTFU, an award-winning comedy from Reel Spiel Productions. (Awards include Best Comedy Short at the Illinois International Film Festival and Best Ensemble Cast at the Houston Comedy Festival). She appeared in the comedic shorts: The Dentist (Official Selection at the New Mexico Short Film Festival) and The Honeymoon and the web series Obama Or Yo Mama and Morning Bitch. Allison currently has three commercials airing nationwide, and is most commonly recognized as “That girl from the Cami Secret ad,” thanks to a parody that has over two million hits on YouTube. She has also appeared on ABC’s One Life to Live and CBS's As the World Turns.

Allison’s recent theatrical credits include Radio Broadway: The Hits of 1958 at Town Hall in Manhattan, Sondheim: The Birthday Concert at Lincoln Center, and The Fantasticks with Live Arts Maryland in Annapolis. Favorite New York and regional credits include Kiss Me Kate (Lois Lane/Bianca), The Full Monty (Georgie), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Marguerite) and Jekyll and Hyde (Emma).

Recent directing projects include Musical Staging for The Fantasticks (Live Arts Maryland) and Squiggy and the Goldfish (Workshop Theatre-NYC). Other assistant and directing credits include The Who’s Tommy (National Tour), The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (Staten Island Philharmonic), The New Kid (Regional Tour), Freefall (Theatre Studio Inc.) and Man of La Mancha (Live Arts Maryland). Allison has also been on the production teams of nine Broadway shows.

Allison was born and raised in Arcadia, California where her family still resides. After graduating high school at the age of 16, Allison went on to study voice at Pasadena City College. She then moved to New York and attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and studied Shakespeare at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She studied improv with The Groundlings in Los Angeles and The PIT and UCB in New York City.
