Looking forward to it, brother.

First, Doug's read was something I really waited for with baited breath. It's been a long time since I've had that feeling of desire to read anything. In addition and more to the point, this forum provided it and I anticipate even higher the next gem that will come from the blogs here.

Here's to keeping it real.

Thanks, James. Doug's series was truly special. He does this every week on his blog. Amazing. The guy is a giver. Rare in this biz. Now keep it real and add a damn headshot! :) Like knowing who I'm taking to.... RB

As before, a great read where everything that can go wrong usually does. Hawk did a great job. Too bad Barbie got violated.LOL. Seems our kids always remember when their cherished doll friends are hurt. So is life. I especially love the ad lib croissants for Florent. Thanks for sharing.

You're welcome, James. A miracle movies get made, huh? Let alone find their way into a nearby theater.

You being the go-between for Siri and Willis was a foregone conclusion. In the end however, by keeping cool and not sticking to a single point too tightly, you were paid handsomely (albeit for DH4), another gig with Siri, and an addition to the family. Sounds to me like there was something far more than monetary gain here. Bravo.

Looking forward to reading more of your exploits ( or works ), which ever comes first. I loved every minute of this. Thank you.

Truth, James. Every time I've said yes because of the money alone, it's bit me in the ass. Or I flat out sucked. Admire those word jockeys who can write like assassins. But it's just not me.

Where the rubber meets the road. This is why we engage in this crazy business. Hawk stepped up and did his job kept the production running and for that I applaud him. Bravo. I relish when people dispense with their egos and realize that it's about completing the project, not the pay, that will come. Now, if I can only convince my wife on that.

Always a rough road to navigate. We all survived. Well, maybe not all the marriages.

Ahhhh, So based on the friendship cemented with Florent in your office, the attachment takes on a fun dynamic. Since he met you first ( my assumption ), his option is not to go to Bruce but instead to you, and since you have a history with Bruce, he's going to go to you as opposed to Florent. An intermediary is born! I've seen that as a scripty once (so far).

I'm so lov'in this and can't wait to hear more!

Great to hear, James. Hope you can wait until Monday when Part 4 goes live.

I thoroughly enjoy the moment when I read someone's work and time fades. Including the comments from the other readers, this is informative, enlightening, educational, and hilarious (shit and syrup, wow what a visual). Looking forward to my next literary fix.
