Bold as Love is a feature length drama set in 1921 Tulsa, that pulls from America’s timeline of the most devastating race riots.
The entry point is a sweeping chain of events that springs from Andrew Jackson’s trail of tears that ended in Tulsa in 1838, the epic builds across the country at the turn of the century — from Wilmington, Atlanta, Brownsville, Illinois, St, Louis, and the Red Summer riots, until settling back in Tulsa where in 1921, the massacre of Black Wall Street became the worst race riot in America’s checkered history…
Our film rises above the brutal reality and ultimately reminds us in order to survive against ingrained hatred we must be, BOLD AS LOVE.
