Being the only child of a wealthy man, other family members are also against her decision and hatch plans to ensure Samira marries within the family. Writer Zulfiqar Talpur weaves an intricate web of stories about expatriates living in the U.S., who hold on to tradition while trying to assimilate in their new homeland.

Director/Cinematographer/Editor After immigrating to the U.S. in 1999, Sonja Ohldag was diagnosed with a Seizure Disorder. She relies on the help of Service dogs so she can live her life to the fullest. Unable to afford a service animal from an organization, she trains them herself. With her previous Service Dog retired, Sonja takes her chance with Chief: a Cairn Terrier mix that is not a stereotypical Service Dog.

My Life in Dance (2015)

He joined Theatre Flamenco in 1968, which is one of the oldest running Flamenco Dance company in the United States. In this short biopic, Miguel traces his artistic journey and shares events of his life that took him across the United States and to Spain, where he learned from the legends of Flamenco like Jose Greco and Antonia Morales. He lives with his partner of 58 years, and continues teaching Flamenco, and promises to dance until he can’t anymore.

The stories involve an African American transsexual overcoming society's prejudice, a Muslim girl facing opposition from her family for loving a Jewish man, a Latino boy coming to terms with his sexuality after finding his girlfriend is pregnant, and a woman falling in love with a younger man and facing her insecurities.
