Cameron Chapin

Hello, new friend! My name is Cameron Kirk Chapin, thank you for reading my autobiography. I've always enjoyed performing and traveling, which is part of how I found myself currently teaching English overseas. I grew up doing many types of entertainment, but started with traditional Scandinavian Folk dancing on my mother's native island. I started getting involved with church productions, and when I changed over from homeschooling to public school, I gradually got more involved with the performing arts, usually onstage, with roles ranging from the funny pizza boy to the dream-filled singer, and the director who had to audition people. Two of my proudest moments were winning a gold medal at the state forensics competition my senior year in high school, and taking home the winning trophy for best routine with my partner in my annual ballroom dance competition last year. I've since graduated and started working as an English teacher here in South Korea. It's quite a different lifestyle here, but when I return home to the states, this past year will have added more to my personal development as a human that I can then pour into a character. As a teacher, I get a chance to act every day, each day is a new show. I really enjoy seeing the audience (these days, my students) light up and connect with each other and with me when my performance goes well. I'm always looking for more opportunities to entertain, both in and out of the classroom. I'm not sure what else to put in here, but please drop me a line and let's get be friends!
