Chuck Muldoon has been working in various lead, supporting and character roles in independent film and theater productions since 2002.
Mr. Muldoon cut his teeth with extensive work in Maine and Massachusetts. Resume highlights include: featured extra and stunt work on the set of Freight Train Films’ How To Kill A Zombie (HTKAZ), a well-received, unique, “zombedy” distributed by Maxim Media, the largest independent distributor of independent horror films in the world. When HTKAZ was released in October 2015, the first printing of DVD’s sold out and the download volume crashed Amazon servers. A previous feature-length film, Scooter McGruder, by Freight Train Films showcased Mr. Muldoon’s original fingerstyle composition and performance skills with a tune called Scooter’s Rag.
In a short film adapted from a Ray Bradbury short story, Mr. Muldoon played the nervous side kick of Rob, the main character who suffers from hemophilia and is being stalked by dubious characters from his past. Having been a frequent team member on several 48 Hour Film projects, he has played everything from a femme-fatale scientist’s would-be fiancé to a doomed paramilitary mercenary.
In The Water In The Bay, he was featured in a scene that was described by director Jonathan Blood as one of his favorite parts of the film.
In 2009, Mr. Muldoon did the physically intensive role of the Werewolf in Freeport Players’ world-stage premiere of American Werewolf in London, adapted from both the Dirk Maggs BBC radio show and the John Landis film.
In December 2015, he worked on sets at a Miami Beach hotel, and at a private beachfront residence in Golden Beach, in two scenes on the set of Ballers with Dwayne Johnson. Additionally, you can see him in Season 2 of Bloodline in a scene as a featured extra with Linda Cardellini.
Having trained with LA acting coach Molli Benson and having worked on sets with Dwayne Johnson, Linda Cardellini and comedian Bob Marley of Boondocks Saints and All Saints Day, Chuck Muldoon has demonstrated professionalism, versatility and an impressive range of acting ability.
