About Dobb

Dobb was born in White Plains New York in 1966, and grew up in Hartsdale, a suburb of New York City. Graduating The State University of New York at Albany in 1988 with a B.A. in Psychology and Economics, he started his film career as a production assistant on the feature film "Ghost", starring Patrick Swayze. After working in production on various shoots in New York, he moved to Colorado and trained with the US World judo team located at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Moving to Aspen he worked as the webmaster for Global Graphics Inc. a Japanese based internet portal. Leaving Colorado for Los Angeles to re-boot his film career, Dobb began working as a set lighting technician, best boy and gaffer on various projects in L.A., Orange County and San Diego. Having traveled extensively in Asia, he has lived in New York, California, Colorado, and Japan. He now resides in New York City working as a producer and local cinematographer

Unique traits: Japanese, Judo Instructor, Bikram's Yoga Instructor.
