Lawrence Bucher is an American actor, writer and producer known for, Under The Radar (2016), Helen Keller Had a Pitbull (2013) and Mutilation Mile (2009).
Lawrence Bucher was a late bloomer and for acting this proved to be no different. It was not until 1997 when he decided to take his first acting class, studying under Elayne Stein in Phoenix, AZ. And, it was even later before he would begin to develop his craft: studying under the late, great, Joseph Bernard (2003-2006). Joseph, an American actor who appeared in over 25 Broadway plays and several movies, was the executive director and teacher at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute (1968). Joseph later made Las Vegas his new home leaving his mark on hundreds of local-based actors and the Vegas community abroad.
Sadly, in April 2006, Joseph passed away, but not without equipping Lawrence with tools necessary for his journey ahead. In October 2006 (six months after Joseph's passing), when famous cult actor Roger Watkins (film director best known for the notorious 1970s Grind House movie, Last House on Dead End Street) had to reluctantly passed on the role of killer, Jack DeGrasso in the film "Mutilation Mile", Lawrence finally found his break when being cast in place of Roger in his first supporting role. Since 2010, the film not only grew to receive multiple reviews, Lawrence received the 2012 "Award of Merit" for Best Supporting Actor at "The Indie Fest."
Since his move to Hollywood with an award under his belt, and an arsenal of screenplays and treatments, which include Under The Radar (UTR), 40 Below Zero, In Darkness Cometh, and, Not By Blood, Lawrence continues pressing forward in Hollywood confidently and patiently aligning himself with those who are artistically balanced, grounded and sincere.
