About Lindsay

Greetings!

I am a director, cinematographer, artist, and actress. I graduated in 2016 with a duo major in film and graphic design. I grew up in a musical family and loved all the arts, which inevitably led me to film - a medium that encapsulates nearly all the art forms. I strive to strengthen myself as a diverse filmmaker and artist, as well as a strong leader and valuable team mate. My recent short films, "Oak Bones" & "Like Rain," have garnished many awards and screenings, which has allowed me to go around the country and meet many different types of filmmakers.

On other directors' films, I tend to favor jobs in:

- Directing / AD
- Cinematography
- Art Direction / Production Design
- Acting
- Writing
- Editing (Premiere, Final Cut, and some SPFX & Animation in AE)

Additionally, I have experience as an SPFX makeup artist and costume designer and have written parts of "Like Rain's" score! My teammates once described my directing style as a "living organism" because I tend to branch out, allowing my team to shine while still guiding my vision in all fields. I believe my diversity makes me a strong and thorough leader on set.

Film Style:

- I like to experiment with visuals, but do not go so far as to alienate my audience.
- I want my films to be artsy yet relatable with some cohesive story or meaning.
- I tend to work dance and other alternative visuals into the story.
- There tends to be a fantastical element to the films I work on.

So get in touch! I'm friendly and would love to get to know more people in the industry and create things together!
