Mark Anthony Reinheart

I am a self-confessed movie star wannabe. I live in a world between absolute fantasy, conspiracy theory, and sociology. I am the blended up bits of Tejanan migration, perfectionism, Google, and monster movie Friday. I have always been interested in the divine, the regal, and the rich, but have been equally fascinated by monsters, gruel, and gore. Hollywood is my idol, and since I was a child part of my identity has been wrapped up in Tinsel Town.
My art is driven by all of these forces. Femininity, beauty, godliness, grime, and filth all inspire me. As an artist I am always looking for ways to be equal parts eccentric and creepy. I strive to create works that capture the “inbetween” or the undoing of something.
My current works are a stream of blog posts, some written, some photographs, and some video performances. They aim to expose the beauty of the outsider, and capture the ugliness of the ordinary.
