Rebeca is bold, caring, and quirky. She writes with perfect fluency in both English and Spanish across a range of different genres (drama, comedy, sci-fi, animation, action, thriller, adventure, and romance) and formats (shorts, Film Spec, Tv Spec, and Pilot). Her knowledge stretches beyond traditional scriptwriting bleeding into Graphic Novels, Game concepts, and Playwriting. She enjoys writing about plural representation, multicultural appreciation, and intersectional feminism.
Script Editor: Rebeca can help you make your story meet industry standards, make your characters well-rounded, fill your plot holes, better your dialogue all according to YOUR vision. Be advised though, that she is NOT a ghostwriter, therefore she will require a credit for her editing work.
Script Readers: Rebeca has a lot of practice giving coverage to peers and provides the following types: color-coded notes on the script, Synopsys (summary of the plot) and a Readers report (through analysis).
Writing Assignments: Are you a producer with a great idea but not the knowledge to write it? Let's talk!
Rebeca has experience participating in and organizing indie productions, as well as knowing the basics of Photography, Graphic Design, Directing, Cinematography, and Animation.
She did a lot of volunteer work that is industry related including working at local Film Festivals, co-creating a social media marketing plan for a friend's indie darling and doing behind-the-scenes and premier documentation photography.
Since moving to Portland, Rebeca is looking for Production Assitance gigs and even office paid internships. She dreams of one day becoming a TV Staff Writer in a deliciously collaborative Writing Room.
Unique traits: Native Spanish, Enthusiastic, Self-driven, Fast learner and very communicative.
