Rebecca is a British Screenwriter/Playwright who has so far won or placed in 10 screenplay contests this year with her ensemble comedy ROADTRIPPERS and placed in 10 contests with her thriller THE FABLE OF THE WOUNDED HEALER. She won the Audience Award for her comedy play TAINTED LOVE last year, along with a NY film festival Short Screenplay contest with the film adaptation of the same script. She has also been shortlisted and longlisted for various things including the BBC Comedy Writers Room. After starting a career in journalism, Rebecca moved into film production, managing the Soho office of Producer Sarah Radclyffe (co-founder of Working Title). Rebecca then went on to produce commercials for the late Animation Director, Tony Cuthbert. She has completed hands-on film production courses including Directing for the Screen, advanced 35mm camera courses, where she wrote, DOP’d and edited a short film. She has experience pitching to industry professionals in Hollywood and the UK and is a regular delegate of the London Screenwriters and Austin Film Festivals, has supported/exec/associate produced three short films and one feature, and is excited about creating work that inspires people and lifts their spirits. Her newest creations are a thriller and a comedy TV pilot and she intends to be the first female Writer in 50 years to write a Bond film.
