About Stacey

Marketing, PR & promotions professional in theatrical marketing, strategy development, project management and film/video production.

She gained international experience in Guyana, S. America. As Dir. of Communications for the country’s largest advertising agency; she wrote and produced television and radio commercials. Stacey was the first American AND the first female to head marketing and PR for the country’s international expo. Stacey also served as press agent to the country’s Minister of Trade and Tourism for Guyana.

Returning to the U.S., she began to focus on the unmet need for target marketing. Mecca Communications, was created as her solution. For over 15 years, Stacey brought with her in-depth understanding of lifestyle marketing winning several awards of recognition along the way.

In 2009, Stacey transitioned into the entertainment industry creating integrated marketing strategies for film releases and oversaw domestic publicity for niche markets for all film releases for Columbia Pictures and Screen Gems. There, she coordinated publicity and marketing efforts on such Academy Award-winning films as Social Network and Moneyball and other titles as The Karate Kid, Jumping the Broom, 21 Jump Street and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Currently, Stacey's placed her focus on writing, producing and developing content. Her latest projects include "The PSYCHO Therapist", "It’s a Wonderful Thug Life" and executive producer on "Project Love", “Homeless Project” and “Unsung Heroes”.
