About Michael

I am a writer and producer with HubCast Media Productions. I wrote and produced 13 episodes of our show THC Live (and an in-show segment called Growing Pains), as well as a music special for Tiller's Folly, a live show for the Juno Awards and promotional and corporate material for Flair Airlines.

I have also served as a script doctor on several feature film productions, including "Jerusalem '67" for Schick Productions in New York, "Unbridled" for Moving Visions Entertainment in North Carolina and "The Forgotten Carols" for Michael Young Media in Atlanta.

I started out working in live broadcast television, which is how my spec pilot PUBLIC ACCESS came to be. I've also worked on live sports and in development for a major producer of feature films.

In the High-Definition camera rental business, I coordinated equipment and crews for $100 million dollar+ productions, including Star Wars, Star Trek, Miami Vice, Collateral, Touched By An Angel, Arrested Development, and clients such as Michael Mann, George Lucas and rock band U-2. I've implemented brand new inventory tracking software, run cables and cameras, produced multi-camera television programming and operated cameras and score bugs for live sporting events.

My feature screenplays have won Best Screenplay in 6 national screenwriting competitions, including Script Pipeline, Fresh Voices and High Concept and a few years back, I produced the short film A Temp For All Seasons, which won Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Original Score at the168 Hour Film Festival.

I am a passionate fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and I am repped by Jorge Garcia at Altered.la

Unique traits: Loves Ohio State Football, Puns and the Canadian rock band RUSH
