My interest in cinematography started early in life, with a particular fondness for creative writing and historical documentary filmmaking.
For over 20 years, I have filmed, edited, and colorized weddings, documentaries, and small business commercials on the side. I have an extensive information security engineering background with some of the world's largest and most successful companies (must pay those bills!). In addition, my responsibilities include technical writing, architecture, and beyond.
After hours, my creative writing side comes to life. My latest achievement is also one of my proudest. I have written and registered several episodic scripts for a humorous children's cartoon, "Rudy the Ruddy Duck." The main character is "Rudy" - An addle-minded duck who chooses to sleep in a kiddie pool all day, oblivious that all other ducks have flown south for the winter. His wife, Rosie, is left packing alone and enraged. Their quarrels get the attention of a hungry Blackhawk, who they must outsmart. Each episode produces new challenges and humor.
I have also written and registered a humorous short, "All Hat, No Cattle," which tells the story of two buffoons hoping to pull off the world's most epic bank heist. However, when the bank alarm sounds and the burglar leaps into the getaway car, the driver cannot start it due to inebriation and an ignition interlock device. I am also in the planning stage of a western thriller.
Educationally speaking, I possess a BS in Cinematography and an MFA in Creative Writing. I graduated with honors in both.
Thank you for taking the time to read my bio. I look forward to connecting and sharing new adventures.
