My passion for cinematography started early… Nearly 45 years ago my mom and uncle drove around taking video. As I got old enough to realize what they were doing, my interest started and just increased over the years. I still have a lot of those clips. I started DJ'ing for weddings at the age of 15 and by my 30's I was doing video for weddings - That was 14 years ago and I am still doing that today as the owner of Storyboard Film Studio.
I am currently working on a full-length documentary about the Missouri State Penitentiary and am very exited about it. While places like the Travel Channel have been there to do ghost-hunting episodes, I envisioned a film that would talk about the rich history… A correction facility that would become one of the most brutal in American history and hold prisoners such as Pretty Boy Floyd, James Earl Ray and others. In fact, Time magazine called it "The Bloodiest 47 Acres In America" back in the 60's. The facility opened its doors in 1836 and ran through 2004. Production on that starts on June 25th, and I will interviewing the former warden, prison guards, inmates etc. I will then be doing an overnight filming session as part of the documentary.
While filming is true to my heart, I have made a living working in IT… Specifically Information Security with a focus on malware forensics. For more than 20 years I have worked with some of the largest companies in the world, such as Cessna Aircraft, MasterCard International, IBM, Monsanto and Enterprise Holdings (Rent-A-Car).
I am proud to be the latest member of Stage 32 and look forward to collaboration and learning!
