About Yasmein

Yasmein Ziyad, is an Actress and native of Atlanta, Georgia. Yasmein has been active in the creative arts her entire life. She first began by acting in stage plays in school, that evolved in her writing her own short stories and plays. Yasmein used the arts as an outlet to escape the challenges she faced at home. At the age of sixteen, she was cast as Juliet in the stage play, “Romeo and Juliet,” and she knew that this was what she wanted to do in life. After high school, she began taking classes at the Professional Actors Studio with Nick Conti, where her thirst for acting became more intense. Since then, Yasmein has been in a number of projects to include, World Wide Deception, Harvest, A Rose Thru Cancer, and N.V., and “The Chamber,” where she got nominated as “Best Female Actress” in the 2012 48 Hour Film Festival. Yasmein Ziyad is currently training with GregAlan Williams of The Actors BreakThrough Studio.
