Austeen Eboka is a Certified Director, Producer and Line Producer from the Hollywood Films Institute; pioneering member of Nigeria’s Nollywood film industry with over 30 years experience in the Arts. Received the Golden Reel Award at the Canada International Film Festival, 2015. He is the 2014 F.A.C.E. Award winner for Best Film Director. Producer/Director- Adora, winner of Best Film in the NOLLYWOOD & AFRICAN FILM CRITICS AWARDS (NAFCA) 2014 Awards. Eboka is the CEO/Director, MacMedia Productions, LLC; former Director of Programming, FuxionTV (Atlanta’s Multicultural Television Station – ); Vice President (Admin) Afrimedia Entertainment, LLC. He is also a member of the Screen Writers and Actors Guild for Diaswood Network.
With an MBA in Business Management from South Bank University, London, coupled with his pluralism and versatility, Austeen Eboka worked in various managerial capacities, acquiring a wealth of professional experiences, ranging from Banking to IT and Telecommunications (as a Corporate Strategic Specialist).
He featured prominently in several Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). Also directed, and acted in numerous stage productions in Africa, England and the USA; starred in leading roles in several independent movies produced and shot in the USA.
Eboka co-produced the first ever collaborative feature film venture between Ukrainian/Russian and Nigerian filmmakers, “Feathered Dreams." His hobbies include swimming, chess, poetry and martial arts.
