Alexander Lakin is a freelance cinematographer living in Chicago, IL. Lakin studied at Loyola University Chicago through their International Film & Media Production program at the School of Communications.
After graduation, he has been involved in numerous independent projects as camera assistant, camera operator, as well as active DP. He has also trained with high-end digital cinema cameras; such as the RED, Blackmagic Design, Canon C-series, as well as other DSLR and prosumer cameras.
In his free time, Lakin also enjoys photography and graphic design. Typically, he uses these skills for poster art, headshot portraits, as well as experimental photography.
