Amanda J Fleming Graduated in 1995 from the Arden School of Theatre in association with the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester's most renowned and respected of Professional National Theatres.
Since leaving Drama School, Amanda has worked with some of the world's most prestigious television and Theatre companies such as The British Broadcasting Company - BBC, MBA in Factory Axe and Red Productions & Granada TV in Cold Feet which her scenes were showcased at the National Television Awards.
Known for her high standards and professionalism she is a known and highly respected actress within the television/film and theatre world.
Originating from the North West of England, Amanda spent most of her early days working with northern based TV and Theatre Companies.
London opportunities called when Amanda was cast as Kate in The Taming of the Shrew with The Cambridge Shakespeare Company followed by the opportunity to perform a Gothic interpretation of Countess Bathory with De Profundis production, she also played Mary Shelly in Frankenstein at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Company Collisions followed by a national tour.
Amanda has starred in a British Telecommunications Commercial, and has continued to work with Channel 4, BBC Radio, and various other Theatre, Film and Television Companies, She played Margaret in the Sessions with Helen Hunt and Directed by award winning director Ben Levin, Where she was also a main player in the official movie trailer.
Amanda’s work in the States also includes Anne in “Zamour” a film directed by award winning Horror movie Director Tammi Sutton, in which Amanda was nominated for best actress, The Goddess Hera in “Titans Of Newark” with Joel Brooks, in which is now gaining international film acclaim, and was shown at Cannes 2014. Rachel In “Pepper” With Craig Robert Young, Carol in “Deadington Abbey” the nurse in Look again and Libby in The Film fumigated, all Movies are currently touring theatres and Major film festivals, all are nominated and have won awards.
Amanda had enjoyed her continued success in the United States where she sought to further develop her versatility and unique brand of class and humour that she brings to her work on all levels. Amanda has now returned to the UK where she has continue her success, and has since wrote and directed 2 more films which are touring festivals and have received awards.
Her latest production which she wrote and directed is an amazing Gothic Horror theatre production "Countess" based on the infamous Elizabeth Bathory. which is currently touring the UK and will be showing Manchester 29th and 30th Oct 2018.
