Bill Hargenrader got his first taste of acting at 8 years of age when he was wrongfully committed to a mental institution for 3 years due to an unfortunate course of events, and he had to pretend that he was mentally disturbed in order to fool the doctors into granting him his freedom.
When Bill was 13 he wrote in his journal: “I really want to be an actor.” Bill joined the Army after 9/11, and quickly learned the meaning of fake it to you make it (a rudimentary form of acting).
Since then Bill has gone on to be a professional speaker, bestselling author, and an actor in theater and film. Bill draws upon his technical expertise and experiential living to bring life and depth to his roles.
From comedic expression, to laying on the charm, to staring down the good guy with my sinister gaze, he specializes in performing complex, conflicted, and multifaceted roles that have an element of unpredictability. Need a priest that's turning to the dark. He’s your man. Need an assassin that's having second thoughts about his chosen career. Sign him up. Have a role where the character is losing his mind, can't tell what's real any more, or has maybe just given up caring? Well... Then, Bill looks forward to seeing how he can help you with your production.
