I Had Started Screenwriting when I was 18 years old, Studied The Craft of Syd Field, Setting the foundation of Screenwriting format.
After scribbling characters, scenes and developing foundations for many screenplay over many years, It was time... While writing many synopsis'. Outlines and working to finish putting 2 scripts into the proper format a friend and coleague in the industry, Director Ted Ryan (Feature, "Ocean State") suggested that I write a couple or five Short Scripts. Ted was already giving me positive feedback and praise after reading some of my work.
I followed Ted's advice and penned 4 Short Scripts over 5 weeks. It paid off. I e
I entered "Butterfly" into Vocativ's annual screenwriting competition and "Butterfly" won 1st place out of thousands of entries. "Butterfly" not only won 1st place, it was also Produced and filmed in Nigeria, Africa. Shortly after becoming a winner of a International Screenwriting competition I had one of my other Short Scripts optioned by Scene around film company. I am working with Director of Scene around Film Company Anastasia O'Brien. The title is "Free" besides writing"Free" I will also be Executive Producer, Producer and Co-Directing. Once "Free" is completed I will be starting right up on
"One Minute". I am also finishing up writing 2 full length Features. Since winning the competition I have gained decent exposure. I receive many inquiries and offers to co-write or Write to certain specifications. A Balance of Family, Working and Writing are the main priorities... In that order.
